Refund Policy
At Ishta Gurukul Preschool, we aim to provide the best possible educational experience for your child. We understand that situations may arise where a refund might be necessary. Please read our Refund Policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions related to fee refunds.
1. Registration and Enrollment Fees

Non-Refundable: The registration fee and any administrative fees paid at the time of enrollment are non-refundable. These fees cover administrative costs related to processing the application and securing your child's place at the preschool.
2. Tuition Fees

Refund for Withdrawal Prior to Start of Term: If a parent/guardian decides to withdraw their child before the start of the academic term, they may be eligible for a refund of the tuition fees paid, excluding the registration and administrative fees. The refund request must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the start of the term.

No Refund for Non-Attendance: If a child does not attend preschool for any reason but has not formally withdrawn, no refund will be issued. This includes cases where a child is absent due to illness or other personal reasons.
3. Exceptional Circumstances

Health or Medical Reasons: If a child is unable to attend preschool due to medical reasons and this is verified by a doctor’s note, we may consider offering a partial refund for the remaining term. The amount will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Termination by Ishta Gurukul: If Ishta Gurukul terminates a child's enrollment due to behavioral issues or any other reason, a prorated refund for the remaining term will be provided.
4. Fee Adjustments

Fee Increases: If there is an increase in tuition fees for the upcoming term, parents will be notified in advance, and any applicable refunds or adjustments will be made accordingly, based on the amount already paid.
5. Processing Refunds

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 30 days after the approval of the refund request. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used for the initial transaction or through another agreed-upon method.
6. Requests for Refunds

To request a refund, parents or guardians must submit a written request to the preschool’s administration. The request should include the child’s name, enrollment details, reason for withdrawal, and any supporting documentation, such as a doctor's note if applicable.
7. Discretionary Refunds

In exceptional situations or cases not covered by this policy, refunds may be granted at the discretion of Ishta Gurukul management, depending on the circumstances.
